Donate food, get a free Arizona Science Center ticket

Through Wed., Sept. 9, 11 Phoenix area Ford dealerships and Arizona Science Center will collect donations of nonperishable food in support of the “Partnership for Hunger Relief.” Arizona Science Center will provide one free general admission ticket to Arizona Science Center for each person who donates at least five nonperishable food items at any participating dealership. Those who donate at least five nonperishable food items at Arizona Science Center will receive 50 percent off admission to the Center’s Dorrance Planetarium.

About a month of planning the new site, finally went live on August 28.  www.azfamily.com/varsityzone Each week I will keep the site updated with information on all high school sports and highlights from Friday night games.

We are also asking for your involvement. Community bloggers are wanted to contribute to the site too. You can e-mail me at info@azfamily.com for details on how you can get started writing for azfamily.com.

You can also check out a segment I am doing in Friday night show covering some of the other happenings in high school sports.
